The mission of the West Seneca Central School District is to provide a diversified educational program which will produce literate, caring, ethical, responsible, and productive citizens who are capable of adapting to change. The WSCSD is committed to supporting the goals of its mission through providing meaningful and effective professional development opportunities for all staff.
Diverse professional learning opportunities, aligned to students' and staff needs, will be provided throughout the year. Listed are several examples of professional development opportunities available to staff members:- Professional Learning Community (PLC) (Formerly PSP, PST, District Sponsored Courses)
- West Seneca Teacher Center Courses
- Superintendent's Conference Days
- District-sponsored workshops and trainings
- Pre-approved conferences
- Professional development as part of an extended faculty day
