Looking for help with your WSCSD Chromebook? 💻 Follow these steps to resolve your issue.
- Create a Helpdesk request (in district only - this link does not work outside of the district) https://helpdesk.wscschools.org
- Login using student credentials
- Visit or contact your school building's tech (if you don't know who your school's tech is, ask the main office)
- Call the chromebook hotline at 716-677-3848

Things to Try

Your Chromebook is asking for old password
- Click on the blue text “Forgot old password”
- Click on the text “Proceed anyway”
We do not save any local data, so you will not lose anything.

Chromebook does not turn on or charge
- Use the shortcut Esc+Refresh (above the #4 key), then press down the Power button and wait until you get the Exclamation Point Chrome OS screen.
- Hold down all three for 45 seconds. It can take up to 2 minutes for the screen to show, or as little as a few seconds.
- At that screen, just turn off the device with the power button, wait 2 seconds and turn it back on.
