Open House and Supply Drop-Off: Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Open House is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, become oriented with the school, and receive important information for the year. We will have a scavenger hunt for the families to explore the building between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
UPK: Specific times will be sent via mail for small group orientations.

Breakfast/ Lunch Programming:
Winchester Potters is Community Eligible for free breakfasts and lunches for the 2023-2024 school year.
Community Eligibility is based on the Free and Reduced Meal application information. To continue receiving free meals, this information is important. The application should be completed every year. Please complete the application regardless of whether you believe you would be eligible or not.
Complete the form online: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict
Application information is attached to Title I funding, which benefits all children through program funding. This funding is used for books, parent engagement materials, extra intervention staff, etc.
Student Dismissal:
In order to maintain a safe and efficient dismissal, we encourage students to use the bus. A high volume of afternoon parent pick-ups creates a longer dismissal because the buses cannot get in the bus lane.Car tags, Pick-Up Authorization Forms, and Arrival/Dismissal procedures will be provided at Open House. You can complete the enclosed Authorization form and email it to the school or bring it to Open House.
Due to traffic concerns, parents should not make a left turn into the parking lot (from Potters Road) arrival and dismissal.
Student Bus and Teacher Information:
Information will be in the Parent Portal on August 28, 2023.
For more information on the Parent Portal, please visit: https://www.wscschools.org/domain/2474I am very excited for this upcoming year, and hope to see you soon!
