  • Afternoon Dismissal:

Although it is highly recommended that your child takes the bus to and from school, we understand that exceptions need to be made.  If afternoon pick-up is necessary, please be sure to follow the below protocols.  The safety of our students is our top priority, so please be considerate and patient as you enter and exit our parking lot.

  • Dear Winchester Potters Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new and returning families and share my excitement about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

    Breakfast/ Lunch Programming:
Winchester Potters is Community Eligible for free breakfasts and lunches for the 2023-2024 school year.
Community Eligibility is based on the Free and Reduced Meal application information.  To continue receiving free meals, this information is important.  The application should be completed every year.  Please complete the application regardless of whether you believe you would be eligible or not.
    Complete the form online: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict
Application information is attached to Title I funding, which benefits all children through program funding. This funding is used for books, parent engagement materials, extra intervention staff, etc.

    Student Dismissal:
In order to maintain a safe and efficient dismissal, we encourage students to use the bus.  A high volume of afternoon parent pick-ups creates a longer dismissal because the buses cannot get in the bus lane.

Car tags, Pick-Up Authorization Forms, and Arrival/Dismissal procedures are available in the main office. You can complete the Authorization form and email it (crupert@wscschools.org), bring it to the school or send it in your child's take home folder.

Due to traffic concerns, parents should not make a left turn into the parking lot (from Potters Road) arrival and dismissal.

    Student Bus and Teacher Information:
Information is in the Parent Portal.
For more information on the Parent Portal, please visit: https://www.wscschools.org/domain/2474

I am very excited for this upcoming year, and hope to see you at all the PTA events!
