Afternoon Dismissal:

Although it is highly recommended that your child takes the bus to and from school, we understand that exceptions need to be made.  If afternoon pick-up is necessary, please be sure to follow the below protocols.  The safety of our students is our top priority, so please be considerate and patient as you enter and exit our parking lot.  

Bus tags will be given out at Open House on Wednesday, August 31.

Hours of Operation: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Parent Pick-up begins at 2:50 p.m.

Buses leave at 3:00 p.m.

Dear WP Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new and returning families and share my excitement about the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.  There will be two opportunities to come to Winchester Potters before the school year starts. 

Open House:  Grades K-5: Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. 

Grades K-2: 4:00-5:00 p.m. (Welcome Presentation starts at 4:15 p.m., teachers are available until 6 p.m.)

Grades 3-5: 5:00-6:00 p.m. (Welcome Presentation starts at 5:15 p.m., teachers are available starting at 4 p.m.)

Open House is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, become oriented with the school, and receive important information for the year.  Open House will be geared towards parents and guardians.  If you cannot arrange for child care, we will have babysitters available.

***Teacher and bus information will be mailed out the 3rd week of August***

PTA Important Information:

Visit PTA in the cafeteria where you can buy Spirit Wear (online or paper forms) and purchase your $10 family membership (online or paper forms). 

Breakfast/Lunch Programming:

We are pleased to inform you that all students at Winchester Potters Elementary will receive a free breakfast and lunch each day should they wish to participate. Please contact Sue Whalen, our food service manager, at (716) 677-3810 if you have any questions.

PTA Ice Cream Social will be help on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
