How can I opt-out from recieving texts?
To opt-out at any time, simply reply to any previous text message from the school with "STOP".
-
I received a phone call from your number, but there was no message. Why?
This can happen for one of three reasons:
- If you have a "ring back" tone, the system can confuse that for someone answering the phone. In that case, the system will "deliver" the message while the ring back tone is playing, and will not leave a message since it has already "delivered" the message.
- If your voice mail greeting begins with a "Hello," it may confuse the system into thinking it has reached an individual. Two things can happen in this case:
- If your voicemail message is longer than the SchoolMessenger message, it will "deliver" the message (as above) while your voicemail is playing and you will receive no message or just a dial tone.
- If your voicemail is not longer than the SchoolMessenger message, you will receive a partial voicemail with the remainder of the message.
- The system will only wait for six rings before it hangs up. If your answering machine or voicemail is programmed to pick up after six rings, the message may not be able to be delivered.
