Driver Education Program
Driver Education is now offered through West Seneca Community Education.
Driving instruction is through Hoffman's Driving Academy.
FALL 2025 sessions commence October 27, 2025
-Program consists of 16 classroom sessions & 16 in-car instruction sessions.
-Classroom instruction takes place at East Senior High School.
-Driving instruction pick-up/drop-off will be at the front main entrance of East Senior High School.

*Policy acknowledgments and driving session preferences will be selected during registration
Registration opens September 29 and closes October 19
Students must have a valid New York State permit or License prior to class.
Cost: $895
(Out-of-district fee: $5)

Fall 2025 Session Options:
1. 25F-DRV001:
Classroom instruction: 4 weeks & Driving instruction 3x/week:
In-class: Daily, 3:15 - 4:45pm, October 28 - November 20 (No class 11/11 or 11/14)
In-car: Students will be scheduled in cars with up to 4 students/90-minute sessions.
You will be asked to select driving time slot preferences in registration questions.
Options are available for driving on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
2. 25F-DRV002:
Classroom instruction 2x/week & Driving instruction 2x/week:
In-class: Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 28 - January 8, 3:10 - 4:40 PM
(no class 11/11, 11/27, 12/23, 12/25, 12/30, 1/1)
In-car: Students will be scheduled in cars with up to 4 students/90-minute sessions.
You will be asked to select driving time slot preferences in registration questions.
Options are available for driving on Mondays & Wednesdays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, or Fridays & Saturdays.

Benefits of Driver Education:
-Completion of the course satisfies the 20-hour graduated license requirement
-When a student turns 17 (as opposed to 18), they can drive after 9:00 pm
-May allow a discount on auto insurance, depending on insurance company
