When is marching band season?
Marching Band is primarily a fall "sport" of the arts. September and October are the main season. There are also summer rehearsals and band camp. (Band Camp is in mid-late August - usually 2 or 3 weeks before school starts).

Are there summer rehearsals?
Yes - band camp in late August (see above) - also some section (small group) meetings/ rehearsals.

What is the fall schedule like?
During September and October, rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00PM-8:45PM. Saturday practice occurs late morning-early afternoon before traveling to shows on most Saturdays in September and October.

How much does it cost to be in marching band?
A "season fee" typically between $225 and $250 which includes:
- Band Camp
- Lunches
- Bowling Night at Strikers
- Dance on the last evening (Carriager's Picnic Grove)
- Senior recognition activities
-Fall Trip (overnight)
-2 T-Shirts (Show shirt and section shirt)
-Tour bus for championship weekend
-Brunch, Snack and Dinner on championship weekend
-Banquet for Student
