  • West Seneca Music Students and Families,
    We hope that everyone is safe at home and staying healthy. We had planned to get things rolling for the marching band starting in early April and although we cannot do everything we were planning, we would like to start the process rolling now!

    All current band students grades 7-11 at East Middle, East Senior, West Middle and West Senior… YOU are invited!! Current Orchestra and Chorus students who are interested in color guard or the front percussion ensemble… YOU are invited!! We are looking for students who take piano lessons and dance classes too! Share with friends!!

    To receive more information about the 2020 West Seneca Marching Band, please fill out this 1 minute form (same as above). It is very important that we know who is signed up ASAP as it impacts choices for our music arrangements and we need exact numbers by June for our custom drill design. Therefore, everyone should fill out the form including current 2019 WSMB members, thank you! The sooner the better!!

    We are asking for an initial deposit of $50 by May 1. You may pay your season deposit with any debit card, credit card, venmo, paypal account or West Seneca Band student account. If you are not able to make a deposit right now, THAT IS OKAY! Details are available after registering using the above link. We are using this online format for the health & safety of our students, parents & boosters during the COVID-19 pandemic. This deposit will be fully refundable if cancelled before June 1 by a parent. Should there be a need for refund after June 1 the deposit would be refunded at the discretion of the Marching Band Director in consultation with the Band Booster Exec. Board. Families with multiple students, please complete a separate registration and separate payment for each child, thank you.

    We do not have a full schedule of payments yet. We will create a schedule for payments once we have guidance from the NY State Education Department, the West Seneca school district and the NYS Field Band Conference on what the season will look like, start dates, etc. A typical season fee total is $225-250 and includes Band Camp - estimated 1 lunch + 2 snacks per day - nutritious, well balanced and good variety, Band Camp activities bowling, dance; 1 Show themed t-shirt; 1 Section t-shirt (i.e. percussion, brass, woodwind, color guard) for rehearsals & parades; 1 end of season banquet ticket, Championship Weekend/Syracuse, NY: Saturday dinner, indoor rehearsal facility, tour bus transportation on Sunday for day of competition AND MORE! Subject to change.

    In order to help offset the cost of the deposit and other future band related needs, we are currently offering an easy fundraiser you may wish to take part in! Details below!

    Send the link out to family and friends all over the country!! They can shop from the comfort of their home and items will be delivered to their home in about a week. Please make sure your friends and family include your name with their order (there is a place to do this) so that you get the 40% credit. Online ordering ends May 16th.


    2. There are paper catalogs/order forms in a tote on my front porch (84 Treehaven Road) that you are welcome to pick up at your leisure. All paper orders and CHECK payments (NO CASH ACCEPTED) are due back to me (the tote on my porch) NO LATER than 7 pm on May 16th.

    Have fun with this! It's a great way to start (or continue) banking some funds in your student account for future expenses (season fees, shoes, gloves, WSMB swag, future trips, etc).
