I have enjoyed serving as a Board of Education Trustee, and am seeking re-election to continue the work that has been done throughout my tenure.

As a life-long, West Seneca resident and West Seneca business owner of over 20 years, as well as a parent of five children who are currently attending (or have attended) West Seneca schools, I've had the opportunity to speak and listen to various community stakeholders, from senior citizens to students. My volunteer work with local community organizations, including West Seneca Rotary, West Seneca Girls Softball, Winchester PTA, and District Parent Council, has also afforded me that opportunity.

I hope to continue to bring this experience to the Board of Education. I remain committed to open communication and transparency and to working hard for our community.

After High School Zach attended State University of Fredonia and studied business administration and accounting. Soon after he decided to take up barbering, Zach loved the fact that everyone needs a haircut.  “From all walks of life, from millionaires to families living week to week, I’ve got to listen to everyone’s story and really get the pulse of the community.” He opened his own barber shop in 2016, “Armstrong’s Barber Shop” located at 2852 Seneca Street in West Seneca. His business holds a Suicide Awareness Walk, Free Haircuts for Veterans, and Breast Cancer Awareness Event. concerning education Zach sponsors a “Student of Excellence” each year, along with an annual scholarship for High School Seniors. He has held the position of President in the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce, a current member of the West Seneca Rotary Club and employed with the West Seneca Police Department as a court officer. “School Board seemed liked the next logical step in my community service journey.” When asked, “what qualifies you for school board?” He responded, “Love of the community, love of education, and common sense. You don’t need a PhD to figure out what is best for the children, just listen to the parents.”
