Food Service Department at West Seneca CSD
-
The West Seneca Central Food Service Department has fully-equipped kitchens in all buildings in the district. We serve breakfast and lunch in all our buildings. The Food Service operation aims to be totally self-supporting with no cost to taxpayers. The child nutrition program is an essential educational support activity and the nutritional needs of our students take precedence. The food levied meets U.S. Government high quality standards with monthly government commodities (cheese, meat, protein, etc.) incorporated into menus to keep prices as low as possible.
We encourage all students to participate in our program. Outstanding balances from previous years will still be collected. Send in cash or check made payable to your child's school cafeteria.
We ask that each family complete an income application. Funding for the West Seneca School District depends on this information. The income application will be available to fill out online in mid-August. Please complete and email the food service or mail to Food Service, 1445 Center Road, West Seneca, NY 14224. It will also be available in your child's school office. Only one income application per family is necessary. Parents, be sure to list all children, their grade level, and schools they attend on the same application.
We have a computerized system in all the buildings in the District. Each student has an account with the cafeteria. For any student account information, please contact Sue Whalen, 677-3810. Parents can put money into an account and when students purchase snacks, the money is deducted from the account.
WE WOULD LIKE TO ENCOURAGE PREPAYMENT OF SNACKS FOR ALL STUDENTS.
