    certified engineering or technology program at WNY institutions of higher learning. 

  • American Legion Erie County Scholarship Application

    This year the Erie County Convention of the American Legion will be at the American Legion at the Mathew Glab Post 1477, located at 1965 Abbott Road, Lackawanna, NY 14218 on June 1, 2024, and, it is known at this time, that there will be at least four (4) awards presented with a value of five hundred dollars ($500) each with a possibility of a few more scholarships. 

    Applicant's home must be in Erie County. 

    Winners will be contacted by phone two weeks prior to the award ceremony and will be expected to confirm their availability to attend the ceremony at that time. Any winner who is unable to attend the ceremony for an acceptable excuse has until July 1, 2024, to arrange proper presentation or the award is declared void. 

    Mail to Erie County Committee of the American Legion, Room 609, City Hall, Buffalo, NY 14202 
    and mark Attention Scholarship Committee. Send so it can be received by May 6, 2024 

  • Italian American Police Assoc. of WNY

    GUIDELINES All applications must be completed in full to be considered and received by May 15th.

    Scholarships will be awarded on the last Wednesday of June. 1.

    Applicant must be a resident of Western New York.

    2. Applicant must be a senior in High School.

    3. Applicant must be accepted to a certified college for the Fall 2024 term.

    4. Applicant must have a minimum average of 80 percent.

    5. Applicant must submit to an interview by the awards committee if requested to do so.

     6. Award Amount: $250 to $ ________

  • Cheektowaga Lions Scholarship Application

    Five awards will be granted based on the following factors:
    1.Must be a resident of the Town of Cheektowaga

    2.Must have an average in the range of 80-89 (Transcript required)

    3.Financial need

    4.Students with disabilities, students going into a trade, and students applying to local community colleges are strongly encouraged to apply.

    8.Scholarship recipients may be recognized at a Lions Club meeting and at graduation

    9.Completed application is due no later than May 15, 2024
