Click on your grade level to view a recommended summer reading list. The summer is a great time to expose your child to an array of literature, especially if they are books that they normally would not have chosen on their own. If you find that your child is having a difficult time reading a book independently, take advantage of this opportunity to read that book aloud to your son or daughter. They are never too old to benefit from being read aloud to!
*I would even suggest printing out the list and bringing it to your local public library and a librarian would be happy to assist in finding these selections for you. The public library has tons of fun activities running all summer long. Check them out on their website: www.buffalolib.org
