Students have the opportunity to be recognized as a Student of Excellence among their peers in their senior year. This is an honor to strive for throughout a student's high school career. The selected "Students of Excellence" are then honored at a banquet with their families and teachers. Students who are nominated must fulfill the following criteria: 

1. The student should exhibit a general concern for the well-being of others.
2. The student should be willing to "go the extra mile."
3. The student should be involved in and demonstrate qualities of leadership in both school and community activities.
4. The student should demonstrate a strong work ethic.
