WNY Regional Administrator of the Year, John Brinker

It is our extreme pleasure to announce that West Senior Principal John (Jay) Brinker was selected as the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association (ESSAA), WNY Regional Administrator of the Year!  An educator for over 25 years, Jay came to the West Seneca Schools as an Assistant Principal in 2008, and became Principal in 2011. He is also the current President of the West Seneca Schools Administrators Association, and the past president of the Pioneer Teachers Association.

A trip around the school with Jay is like walking through an educational Museum of Best Practices, if such a thing existed.  He pulls parents and staff together in ways that are all pointed toward one goal – benefitting his students!  Students are seen and known, cared for, and celebrated on an academic and personal basis - daily.  Mr. Brinker consistently points to others when crediting the wonderful climate and culture at West Senior.  It is all the more fitting that this particular award recognizes his deft leadership.

Jay will receive his award on Friday, May 20th at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center in Tarrytown, NY.  Take a bow, Jay.  You deserve it!
