He possesses traits that identify himself as a student who can be trusted and counted upon. He is very respectful and kind to his classmates. Everyone around him is treated with respect and kindness.

 

Donovan John, Grade 12

CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP: Leah Villari

Donovan is a kind, hard working student. He has made outstanding progress in reading over the past two years. Donovan's perseverance and determination consistently impress me!

ENGLISH: Tina Kalson

Ben always comes to class with a smile on his face and is ready to learn. He consistently shows respect for both his peers and teachers. I'm very lucky to have him in class this year.

HEALTH: Ben Hamm

Madison comes in with an eagerness to learn. She adds personal examples to enrich the lessons and is courteous and uplifting to her classmates.

 

Shelby White, Grade 9

MATH: Bridgett Butera

Shelby works very hard both in class and outside of class. She frequently stays after school and completes optional assignments to practice her Algebra skills. She is very determined and should be proud of everything she is doing in Algebra 1!

MUSIC: Eve Roushey

Izzy is an outstanding member of our string ensemble! She works hard and is dedicated to the violin. Outside of school she takes private lessons, is a member of the Southtowns Youth Orchestra, and volunteers for Buffalo String Works.

Sean displays many qualities that will make him a successful young adult in today's society. He is a great classmate to others and is always willing to help when asked. Well done Sean and keep up the great work.

Autumn immediately impressed me with her devotion to our school community as well as her academics. She continuously challenges herself and strives to excel in science. Autumn shares her compassion for others and is a positive role model for her peers.

Matthew is an outstanding student. Having previously studied French, Matthew eagerly jumped into Spanish 2 and has shown to be incredibly hard working and always striving to learn more. ¡Bien hecho Mateo!

Alanna is a very driven young lady… She understands how to use her talents and ideas to make meaningful works of art and design. She’s developing her career goals and merging that with her Sustained Investigation in the classroom.
 
Dylan Fuqua, Grade 11
BUSINESS: Mrs. Day
Dylan is a co-manager at the East Vault. He is doing a great job learning about how to complete financial transactions and how to close the vault every day that it is open. Keep up the great work!
 
Bella Nowak, Grade 11
COMMUNITY SERVICE & LEADERSHIP: Jen Murray
Bella goes out of her way to make the students in the classroom feel included and welcomed. She also is a leader, as she is always offering to help the teachers. She does a great job interacting with students during Snack Attack and is responsible.

A highly dedicated ELA student. His effort regarding his studies in the ELA 10 curriculum is commendable. He is always insightful and is mastering the skills required to be successful at this level.

Madison is an outstanding health student who is self-motivated, excels in our class, and is carrying a 100% average and is a pleasure to have in Health I.

Madalyn is an extremely hard worker and very self-motivated! She has continued to work to better her understanding and has shown great improvements in Geometry. She is a fantastic role model for her classmates.
 
Hailey Sugrue, Grade 12
MUSIC: Mr. Farugia
Hailey Sugrue has worked very hard for her success. She participates in multiple music ensembles such as Concert Band, Chamber Chorus, Nothin But Treble and has a leading role in the musical "Freaky Friday". Hailey exemplifies what hard work and dedication means and she is a leader on and off the stage.

Anna is a fabulous French student. She is always participating in class and exhibits enthusiasm. Anna was a host for our French exchange students in the fall. She made our visiting students feel very welcome and was an outstanding ambassador for our school and community. Excellent travail!
