November’s Leadership Team lesson rolled out a donation drive for the City Mission. Our West Seneca East Community was extremely giving. On December 10th , 38 students went to Cornerstone Manor which is a shelter of the City Mission. Cornerstone Manor is doesn’t just provide women and children with food and shelter it is a place that changes lives by also offering education skill training to help lift those in need out of poverty. Students were given a tour and were in awe of the services provided. After the tour the students went on to hang bags with donated hats, scarves and gloves in a park by the bus station to provide the homeless with warmth. Many thanks to Brianna Reilly and Hope Ignaszak for their coordination and efforts in this drive.
