         Homework:

Kindergarten children should be read to daily and also have time to explore books on their own each day.  Providing developmentally appropriate books is easy to do!  Just visit one of the wonderful libraries in West Seneca or Cheektowaga and your child will have a variety of books to choose from at home.  Reading with your child is the #1 activity you can do to prepare him/her for the education journey ahead.

Sight word rings should be reviewed often at home with your child.  Learning these commonly occurring words will aid your child in learning to read more complex text and improve fluency.

Math homework includes completing five pages of the orange Common Core Math Book each week.  There may be other additional math assignments or projects to complete at home as the year progresses.
