Mission Statement
School Social Workers establish a supportive network of services to bridge the gap between home and school. We assist administrators, principals, teachers, staff and parents in meeting the educational needs of students.
School Social Workers establish a holistic perspective of a child's life. We integrate information from home, school and the community. School Social Workers help students overcome social, emotional, behavioral and academic challenges.
What We Do
The School Social Worker is responsible for providing an integrated network of student support services to help children succeed in school. We utilize a child/family systems approach promoting the partnership among the home, school and community. These services are in the areas of prevention, intervention, advocacy and treatment.
