A Little about Me
A Little About Me
I am a 1995 graduate of Cheektowaga Central Highschool. I attended Canisius College for Elementary Education and have a concentration in Social Studies! I am actually certified to teach Social Studies for students in grades 7-9 as well. After graduating with that degree in 1999, I attended St. Bonaventure University and received a Masters Degree in Reading.
I have been teaching in the West Seneca Central School District since 2000. I was a long term substitute in a first grade classroom. I later became a second grade teacher and taught second grade for 12 years before becoming a third grade teacher.
I am a mom of 2 girls. Abigail and Madison both attend West Middle. They are actively involved in school activities such as chorus and school musicals.
When I'm not teaching or driving my girls to dance or gymnastics, I enjoy going to the movies, eating out or relaxing outside in front of a nice bonfire.
My favorite color is green. I love peanut m&m's and I have a 6 pound little dog named Winston!
I live in West Seneca and often see students and parents in the community, riding bikes, and at the grocery store.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and empowering the lives of our children.
