Degrees and Certifications:
This is my second year in kindergarten, but my 8th year of teaching. I have definitely found my home in kindergarten, and just love to see the excitement in my student's eyes when they learn something new. I grew up in the West Seneca School District, starting at Northwood and graduating from West Seneca East Senior High School. I have two children, and have been with my husband for more than half of my life. We have an English bulldog named Sarge. He is an absolute love, and is very fun to hang out with.
I am a morning person, who loves a warm cup of coffee with caramel creamer. I love to read when I need some time to relax or even to learn new things. My family and I enjoy camping during the summer in our travel trailer, and like to travel around to different campgrounds around Western New York. I love to cook and bake, and my daughter has inherited that love as well. I have the privilege of watching my daughter do what she loves when she has a gymnastics competition. I also love to watch my son play baseball in summer, and listen to his funny jokes.
I look forward to working with my students each day, as each day seems to bring a new adventure for us to conquer. I believe that my students need time each day to play and explore the world around them. They need to make mistakes in order to learn, and saying I'm sorry is an important skill to learn.
