Chapter 7: Cell Structure and Function
Can you think of something that you know exists, even though you can't see it with your eyes? A drop of pond water has many tiny swimming organisms and small bits of plant material, but we can't see them with our eyes. How do we know these tiny things exist? We can use microscopes to look at a sample of the pond water. Have you ever used binoculars, a microscope, or a magnifying lens? In this chapter, we will explore a world new to us, the world of the cell!
