Spanish Club & Honor Society

  • Beginning of the Year Meeting

    Wednesday, September 18 @ 1:45 in Room 155

    *Come if interested in joining Spanish Club

    *Mandatory for all Honor Society members

     

    El Club de Español

    -All members must be currently enrolled in a Spanish class.

    -Once a member, you may participate in any of the events this year. Participation in these events is not mandatory, but is encouraged. 

    -You must maintain a passing average in all classes. Grades will be checked every five weeks.

    -We use Remind to keep you updated on events. Sign-up for Remind and pay attention to the morning announcements as well as announcements from your teacher.

    -A fundraiser will occur in the fall.

    -Our annual activities have included Day of the Dead Cemetery clean-up, visiting the non-profit “Amor and Heritage” in the city of Buffalo that seeks to unite people of different cultures through dance and storytelling, dinner at El Canelo, cultural movies, Tops Cooking School, and Lasertron.

    1st Quarter contacts due: Friday, November 8

    2nd Quarter contacts due: Friday, January 17

    3rd Quarter contacts due: Friday, April 3

    4th Quarter contacts due: Friday, June 5

    -You are not required to participate in events, but it is strongly encouraged (for scholarships and officer positions).

    -Contacts: Juniors must complete 4 contacts per quarter. Seniors must complete 5 contacts per quarter (Quarters 1-3). See rosters outside of Rooms 148 and 202 for your assigned teacher.

    -A fundraiser will occur in the spring.

    -Induction Ceremony: Wednesday, April 1 from 2:00-3:00 pm in Cafe C
