    In light of the situation that has been created by the COVID-19 pandemic, New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo issued Executive Order No. 202.26 (“Continuing Temporary Suspension and Modification of Laws Relating to the Disaster Emergency”) on May 1, 2020. The Order provides, in relevant part, that any school district annual meeting and election scheduled to be held the third Tuesday in May of 2020 is rescheduled for June 9, 2020. Pursuant to the Executive Order, voting will only be conducted by absentee ballot. 

    The Governor further modified the counting of absentee ballots through Executive Order 202.37 issued on June 8, 2020. Pursuant to this Executive Order absentee ballots received by mail on or before June 16, 2020 at 5:00 p.m to the District Clerk will be counted in this budget vote and board member election.

    Vote to be conducted by absentee ballot only.

    If you plan to drop-off your absentee ballot to the District Clerk, this must occur by June 9th at 5:00 p.m.
    After June 9th absentee ballots may only be returned by mail and the absentee ballot must be received by the District Clerk no later 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 16th to be counted.

    The annual School Budget Vote and Election will begin on June 9, 2020 5 p.m. and end on June 16, 2020 at 5 p.m.  Voting will be done completely by absentee ballot.  Voters registered with the Erie County Board of Elections will automatically receive a ballot.  Those on the permanent county and military lists will also receive their ballot.  Any qualified voter who is not on the mentioned lists should request an absentee ballot by emailing the district clerk at or calling 677-3136.

    Please complete one absentee ballot, place it in the envelope that says, “Official Ballot for Absentee Voter for School District Election,” complete both sides of the envelope then seal it.  The sealed envelope should then be placed in the supplied postage paid envelope and returned to the district via mail or by utilizing the drop box at district office (675 Potters Rd)
