Today we will start by exploring the world on National Geographic Kids. You will look at several different countries and decide which country you would like to research over the next few weeks.

Rainforest Research Project
Use the following websites to research the different layers of the rainforest. Take notes using dot jots on your four-square.
Select one animal from the rainforest you would like to research. To research and find your animal, use these websites:
After your research on the rainforest layers and rainforest animal are compete, you will create a six slide Power Point slideshow on your findings to share with the class.
Caring Word Clouds:
1.) Go to Sign In
2.) Put in the Username:allendaleLMC

4.)Scroll down to "create new cloud"
5.) List at 20 words about caring
6.) Name your word cloud with your last name and room number
7.) Change the font, colors and shape - click "visualize" until you like the way it looks
8.) Save your word cloud by clicking "save changes"
