Dear Parents:

Please click the the following words to download and read information regarding our June exam schedule.

It's hard to believe that we are already in the last marking period of the school year and June is fast approaching.  As we begin the last 10 weeks of the school year, we enter a very important time as it pertains to grades.  We've just completed our third marking period and we are working hard to finish the school year strong with the fourth marking period grades and final exams.  There are still a lot of opportunities for your child to reach their goals academically.  The three marking periods we've just completed, account for 60% of the final grade for the year.  The final marking period grades and the final exams will account for 40% of their final grade.

We are hopeful that your child understands the impact the last 10 weeks will have on their overall grades.  It is important that our students put forth their best effort as the school year comes to a close.  Whether your child is struggling to pass, or striving for the honor roll, there's still a lot of time for improvement.  Many of our teachers will be holding review classes before final exams.  Please be sure you are encouraging your child to take advantage of these opportunities and are also encouraging them to start reviewing for final exams as early as possible.  The schedule for the June exams is available on this Web site for your review.  Please make every effort to encourage your child to attend school regularly and to eliminate tardiness, during these final 10 weeks of school.

As always, we want to thank you for the continued support you offer your child as we work together with the common goal of improving student achievement.

Please do not hesitate to contact our main office (677-3500) or the guidance department (677-3507) in the event you have any questions or concerns.
