Report Cards

Report Cards are issued four times during the school year.  There are approximately 40-45 days in each marking period.

Progress Reports

Progress reports are sent home at the end of the 5th, 15th, 25th, and 35th week of school.  These progress reports help to alert parents of potential academic problems.

Report Card Period ends as follows:

1.  November 6

2.  January 25

3.  April 16

4.  June 11

Mission Statement

The mission of the West Seneca Central School District is to provide, under the guidance of a competent and committed staff and a supportive community, a diversified educational program which will produce literate, caring, responsible, and productive citizens who demonstrate positive ethical beliefs, possess self-discipline, exhibit dignity of character, and are capable of adapting to change.

Beliefs

1.  All children have the right to a learner-centered education that promotes and supports intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth and ensures opportunities for achievement at their highest potential.

2.  Education requires the commitment of students, staff, parents, the board of education and the community.

3.  Higher expectations lead to higher levels of achievement.

4.  Literacy skills are fundamental to student achievement.
