“Have a Heart”
Northwood Elementary
Northwood Elementary Shining Stars and Spirit Club are
sponsoring the first annual “Have a Heart” fundraiser to benefit
The Compass House of Buffalo.
The Compass House provides shelter and services to homeless and runaway youth. The Compass House is the only shelter and service provider for both male and female homeless and runaway youth between the ages of 12 through 20. It is one of the oldest shelters in the country.
Throughout the week of February 1st-February 12th families and students are encouraged to donate food and personal care items for the children residing in the local shelters.
If your family is able to help, items will be collected throughout the week and placed in our “Barrel of Love” located in the main entrance of the school. Donations will be accepted from both students and adults anytime throughout the school day.
On the back you will find a list of items that the Compass house has targeted as items of need.
Thank you in advance for your help and generosity!
