Potters Road Elementary School

October 31st at Potters Road
On October 31st, students in kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade, dressed in costumes and paraded around the building. Everyone was adorable in their costumes and all students and teachers enjoyed their holiday parties as well as the festive parade!
6th Grade History Lesson in Costume
On October 31st, sixth grade students at Potters Road dressed as characters from ancient history and gave a speech describing that character. This activity was informative as well as lots of fun!
Kindergarten Fire Safety
For "Fire Safety Week" firefighters from Seneca Hose brought a fire truck to Potters Road Elementary School. Kindergarten students learned about fire safety and got to tour the fire truck.
Book Fair
A Safari themed book fair will be held on December 11, 2008 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the school gym. The zoo mobile will be there from 5:00 to 7:00 and Donna Fernandes, Buffalo Zoo director, will be reading some of her favorite zoo stories from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. "Safari snacks" will be served.
